Feelings Wheel – Non-Violent Communication Version

You may have seen feelings wheels before, but I prefer the “Non-Violent Communication” version, because it:

  • Separates emotions words, on the wheel, from judgement words, below the wheel.
  • The left side of the wheel represents emotions we might feel when our needs aren't being met; the right side of the wheel are the emotions we might feel when our needs are being met.

In our house, we used the wheel so much, we laminated it and used dry-erase markers to circle words. A page protector works too.
